Cindi Phallen

Founder and President, Create Possibility

Cindi is the founder and President of Create Possibility, where she provides strategic insight to nonprofit leaders.  She helps them focus on what matters, so they can change results and maximize their impact in the community.

Pulling from her experience of leading YMCAs across the U.S., Cindi’s focus is on topics related to board development, organizational transition, fundraising, leadership and strategic planning.  She has won numerous awards throughout her career, and is an expert at navigating change.

Her popular book “The Impact Triangle,” was released to early praise and is recommended as mandatory reading for Executive Directors and board members.  Cindi writes a respected blog and has recently been featured in The Nonprofit Daily and Nonprofit Now.  She was also recently selected by CA Volunteers and Points of Light to lead the Service Enterprise Initiative in San Diego.  In August she will begin teaching in the USD Nonprofit Management Certificate program.

Cindi is also a proud mom, beach jogger, avid snowboarder, and obsessed Philadelphia Eagles fan.
