Emily Rex is the founding partner of Departure, a hybrid agency that addresses business challenges through the medium of creative thought and the tools of technology. She handles the day-to-day operations of the agency, the tight relationships they have with every client and the million details that come with managing a business.
Throughout her career, Emily’s clients range from international to startup and projects range from on-screen to on-paper. Her recent brand work for nonprofit clients include the San Diego Zoo, The United Way, San Diego Police Foundation and San Diego Humane Society.
Emily holds a Marketing & Management degree from Baylor University and is an active member in the American Association of Advertising Agencies, National Association of Professional Women, Association of Corporate Growth, San Diego Rotary – Club 33 and Downtown San Diego Partnership.
