SAN DIEGO – May 10, 2010 – Plumb, Southern California’s premier outsourced accounting consultancy,
announced three new strategic hires to accompany its rapidly-growing cadre of professionals.

Mike Bourne, Jon Oxidine and Bill Kizer bring nearly 50 years of combined financial and technology experience to the company.

Bourne is Plumb’s new Vice President of Accounting and Financial Consulting. He holds a proven track record as COO and CFO in several industries, including aerospace, defense, manufacturing, consumer products and retail. Bourne’s “roll-up-your-sleeves” management style is designed to optimize people, processes and profits within the organizations he services.

Oxidine joins Plumb as an Accounting and Finance Consultant. He’s a CPA with experience and core competencies in numerous areas for small and large companies, including auditing, business processes and internal controls, process improvement, Sarbanes-Oxley project management and testing, strategic business analysis, controllership duties, budgeting and forecasting, and financial analysis and modeling.

Kizer will act as the Enterprise Resource Management Sales Consultant for the firm, leveraging his deep domain expertise in a host of sales and technical consulting services for the company’s technology clients.

Versed in Sage Software solutions, a key strategic partner of Plumb, he will be counted on to ensure the company’s current and prospective clients can leverage proven technology platforms to improve operations and make smarter business decisions at a faster pace.
“The biggest challenge we face as we continue to grow rapidly is finding the right people who are committed to improving our client’s financial performance by leveraging proven accounting practices alongside state-of-the-art technology,” said Robert Scherer, President and Founder of Plumb. “That means selecting people that possess a unique combination of accounting and computer skills in conjunction with a strong desire to deliver top-level, personal customer service. We found them in Mike, John and Bill, and are excited to have them aboard!”
