Plumb Names Head of Corporate Outsourced Accounting Division
Scott Zimmer Brings over 20 years of Corporate Accounting and Financial Management Experience to Rapidly Growing Firm
La Jolla, CA – November 2013 – Plumb, Southern California’s premier outsourced accounting and enterprise software consultancy firm has selected Scott Zimmer to lead the Corporate Accounting Division – one of three distinct operating units within the Plumb organization. As Vice President of Plumb, Mr. Zimmer will manage a team that provides outsourced CFO, Controller and bookkeeping services, as well as accounting and business consulting services, to a variety of companies in the Southern California region.

Prior to joining Plumb, Mr. Zimmer has held a number of senior management positions, including most recently President and CFO of a regional Microsoft systems integrator specializing in the implementation and integration of various accounting, ERP and CRM systems, along with customized development services.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Zimmer served as both CFO and Controller of Cobra Golf, Inc., a $200 million designer, manufacturer and distributor of premium golf equipment that was eventually sold to American Brands for approximately $720 million. In addition, Mr. Zimmer has previously held senior accounting and financial management positions with companies in a variety of industries, such as Kintera, Inc. (technology) and Complexions Rx, Inc. (retail).
Mr. Zimmer began his career in the audit division of Ernst & Young and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, inactive) in the state of California.
Mr. Zimmer earned a B.A. degree in Economics-Business, cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He resides in San Diego along with his wife Julie-Anne and their three children, Egan, Leo and Wyatt.
