Plumb Delivers Successful Implementation of NetSuite for Breeders’ Cup Limited

Plumb, Southern California’s premier NetSuite Solution Provider and SuiteCommerce Digital Agency Partner, with accounting outsourced solutions,  announces new client Breeders’ Cup Limited. The Breeders’ Cup World Championships, to be held in Santa Anita Park, from November 4 – 5, 2016, is known as the unofficial end of the thoroughbred-racing season, and has been the deciding factor in the Horse of the Year.

“Breeders’ Cup Limited selected to work with Plumb as their NetSuite partner, because of our experience in the sports industry, backed by strong project management and professional services capabilities,” said Donna Sandsmark, Director of NetSuite Professional Services for Plumb.  “They also sought a NetSuite partner who had Functional Consultants with an extensive accounting background,” she said.

Plumb replaced Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains with NetSuite ERP for Breeders’ Cup Limited.  Since the upgrade to NetSuite, they improved their budgeting and reporting functionality, while customizing purchase orders and expense approval routing.

Reasons Why Finance Teams Prefer NetSuite over Great Plains:

  • NetSuite supports multi-entity, multi-currency and multi-channel sales to support growing organizations without limitations.
  • Netsuite accelerates financial closing periods with automated real-time financial reports, account reconciliation tools and consolidation.
  • Advanced revenue recognition with NetSuite and calculation automation to comply with standards more quickly.
  • Full financial planning functionality is a key differentiator for NetSuite over Great Plains, with budgeting, forecasting and modeling capabilities.
  • NetSuite delivers customized dashboards, KPIs and production reports that are industry-specific.
