Survey Results: CFOs More Likely to Outsource Accounting Project
Survey results were given in an AccountingWeb article by Jason Bramwell, with Robert Half as the source.
Based on interviews with more than 900 CFOs who were asked of what areas in their business would they use outsourced accounting, financial consultants or have outsourcing accounting projects within the next year. According to the results of the survey, 57% said finance and accounting would be an area they would outsource for project work, followed by 48% who noted business systems and improvement and 42% who reported taxation help.
The growing trend is that more CFOs and companies are willing to outsource their accounting needs, especially in areas of general accounting and finance – including forecasts and budgets, financial reporting and mergers and acquisitions.
