Plumb accounting in San Diego The San Diego Metro proudly salutes 40 of the best and brightest minds in San Diego County.  There will be an awards luncheon help on Tuesday, September 26th at the Sheraton Hotel & Marina to recognize the group.  Registration starts at 11:30AM with luncheon and program to follow.

Plumb accounting in San Diego highlights Anneke Stender, Executive Vice President.  Stender has been with Plumb since 2003, first starting as the company’s Controller.  She oversees the corporate accounting outsourced division and Plumb Family CFO.  She manages a team of accountants, focuses on new business development and implements strategic plans for growth.  Stender has been instrumental in Plumb’s success, helping to market and brand outsourced accounting in San Diego as a mainstream option for companies of any size.  The services provided by Plumb allow for companies to either fully outsource their accounting needs or use part-time accounting services for project or controller-level reporting.

Originally from Germany, Stender moved to San Diego by herself after high school for a year of English language studies. Within the first six months she fell in love with San Diego and thePlumb accounting in San Diego Southern California lifestyle and stayed for college. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance.

Stender actively participates in professional associations such as the Estate Planning Council of San Diego, STEP (Society of Trust Estate Professionals), SDSU Business Alumni Association, La Jolla Probate, the Nonprofit Leadership Forum and ProVisors.  She is a board member to the Scripps Health Gift Planning Advisory Board.

In 2017, she won the Women of Influence, “Game Changer” award. Past awards include“Top 20 Women Who Impact San Diego” and Finalist in San Diego and Orange County Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business” award.
